Create a screensaver to promote McDonald's 50th Anniversary in two days !
I contacted McDonald's Legal and Creative departments to let them know I would need approvals on this project quickly. A meeting with Desktop Services was scheduled and file constraints were settled on. I created a working "rough draft" of my idea for the animation and sent it out for feedback.
I completed the Screen Saver animation, and obtained approvals by mid afternoon the next day. The Flash file was converted to the screensaver file (SCR) and delivered to Desktop Services as scheduled. The Screen Saver was deployed to every computer in McDonald's system worldwide in time for the big McD 50th Anniversary.
